Palex developed and implemented a quality management system that was first certified back in 2009. Every three years, we undergo our recertification audits – they confirm that our quality management system meets every requirement. In addition, Palex is subject to an annual supervisory audit.
Last year, the ISO 9001 standard was updated. With the older version no longer in effect, Palex requested an unscheduled recertification audit. We spent nearly half a year preparing to recertify under the new standard. Retooling the quality management system to bring it in line with the demands of the new standards was an enormous undertaking for the company’s management and staff.
The auditors from the Russian branch of DQS, a company based in Germany, took note of the high level of focus on customer care, of the quality of services rendered, and of the organization of working processes at Palex.
Beyond that – for the first time, the auditors tested our company for compliance with the ISO 17100:2015 standard, which establishes requirements for the provision of translation services. Palex became one of the very few Russian companies to receive its certificate under this standard.
Our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2015 certificates confirm that the work we do is fully compliant with international requirements, so customers can be confident that they receive high-quality translation and localization services.
